The parish church of All Saints in Talcahuano, along with several other parts of the region, suffered badly from the earthquake and tsunami of 2010. This disaster caused severe damage to the interior of the church and destroyed buildings used for pastoral care.
At the moment parish and community life are still badly affected because they have had to adapt their activities to cope with the damp and dangerous conditions in order to continue functioning.
Rebuilding works have started but the parish still needs to raise a considerable amount to finish the reconstruction. ACN has been asked to help.
