ACN (Malta) congratulates Rev Prof Hector Scerri, Ecclesiastical Assistant of ACN (Malta) on his appointment by Pope Francis as Consultant for another 5 years for the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity.
He will be in charge of matters related to the Ecumenical Dialogue between various Churches and Christian traditions.
Rev Prof Hector Scerri is a member of the Dept of Fundamental & Dogmatic Theology, Faculty of Theology in the University of Malta.
Rev Prof Hector Scerri graduated in Theology from the University of Malta and the Gregorian Pontifical University in Rome. He is also an author of various books.
This is an honour and a service to the Universal Church and an honour to the Archdiocese of Malta. This honour is truly due to Rev Prof Hector Scerri. We promise to him our prayers and support for the Lord to continue to help him in his important work.
